Andrew married Susannah Ward, who was born about 1733 and died March 5, 1812. Susannah is buried at St. Peter and St. Paul Church in Stokesley, with their son Henry.
The parish church records at Patrick Brompton say that in 1776, when his daughter Susannah was born, Andrew was an innkeeper and that he lived in Newton-le-Willows.
Andrew's 1780 burial record says that his father was from Northallerton, which is about 12 miles from Newton-le-Willows.
